25th July 2003: The Abominable Snowman Update: Word reaches us that Emmett/Furla films have
signed up Crash McCreery to create the visual look for
The Abominble Snowman. The movie is being produced by
Randall Emmett, Ilya Salkind, Gale Ann Hurd and George
Furla
Monday 27th April 2003: The Abominable Snowman Update: The
Abominable Snowman is reported to be lumbering to a
cinema near you.
Emmett/Furla Films has apparently teamed with Ilya Salkind
and Gale Anne
Hurd to develop and produce the project. Salkind, who
served as executive
producer of the original Superman movie as well as its
next two sequels,
held the rights to the Abominable Snowman title. The
feature would be based
on the Snowman legend, which says that enormous and
savage ape-men, or yeti, stalk the Himalayan Mountains.
