Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired teen horror-comedy spec script "Absolute Angels," which was written by Genevieve Jolliffe and Andrew Zinnes. Jolliffe will make her U.S. directorial debut and first studio deal. The story concerns a lonely goth girl who gets invited to join the high school cheerleading team only to learn the cheerleaders are actually a pack of vampires. Mosaic's Alex Gartner and Chuck Roven will produce the film.
