The
movie focuses on the penal system in Florida where a
con is placed with an outside family 90 days before
his release date. The scenario of the movie will place
the convict with a seemingly ideal family under the
guise of giving the children a real-life education.
But the family turns out to be highly dysfunctional,
headed by a scam artist father and his neglected wife,
leading the convict wishing he could go back to jail.

Producers Walter Latham and David Permut have signed on to comedy
Adopt A Con at Paramount Pictures. The movie has been picked
up from turnaround at MGM. The movie focuses on the penal system
in Florida where a con is placed with an outside family 90 days
before his release date. The scenario of the movie will place
the convict with a seemingly ideal family under the guise of
giving the children a real-life education. But the family turns
out to be highly dysfunctional, headed by a scam artist father
and his neglected wife, leading the convict wishing he could
