Monday 6th December 2004: The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D:
David Arquette and Kristin Davis will star in The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D for director Robert Rodriguez. The story is about a 10-year-old outcast shunned by classmates and forced to spend summer vacation alone. With his two imaginary friends - the title characters - he goes on a mission to prove that dreams can become reality. The stars will play the boy's parents alongside Taylor Dooley, Taylor Lautner, Cayden Boyd and George Lopez. Dimension and Sony are co-financing the film with Rodriguez and Elizabeth Avellan via their Troublemaker Studios.

Thursday 4th November 2004: The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D update:
Jacob Davich will star in The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D for Dimension Films. Robert Rodriguez wrote the script and will direct the story of Minus, a bully who terrorizes a 10-year-old boy, Max, who has a pair of imaginary superhero friends. The film also stars George Lopez and newcomers Taylor Dooley, Taylor Lautner and Cayden Boyd.
