Donovan has sent in the following update on Wake of Death "I've been on the set in Cape Town , South Africa where they are busy filming.I saw Van Damme on the 23-11-03 . He was doing a take where he had to run out of a house chasing a Chinese guy. The Chinese guy then sped away in a BMW X5 and Van Damme was firing shots at the vehicle. Wicked stuff!"

Davy has been in touch to advise that Jean Claude Van Damme's movie Wake of Death has been retitled Wake of Death. Director Ringo Lam is no longer involved in the project and replaced by Cess Silvera.Also starring in the movie are Valerie Tian and Simon Yam.

Just received the following info on Wake of Death "Hello , I am Boudrez Davy and, here is some info on the new movie : 'Wake of Death' from Jean Claude Van
Damme Recently I've send an email to the Bauer-Martinez movie company and I
received an email back, here it is: Dear Davy, Thank you for your interest in Jean-Claude Van Damme's new film "Wake of Death
. Wake of Death will be directed by Ringo Lam and will be shot on location in
Montreal, Canada. Bauer Martinez Studios is the worldwide distributor of the
film and Lucky UKFS is the london based company producing the film. We are presently in our 6th weeks of preparation for the film and will start
Production early august. The film will be premiered next year in Cannes. In
addition we have also signed Jean-Claude Van Damme for "Cover Play" also an
action packed film to start production in November 2003. Location has yet to
be determined. Just received the following information on Wake of Death "The movie is about a collision between the Triads from Shanghai and Philadelphia. This film is a first for Jean Claude Van Damme as it deals with gangsters and a sixth sense type plot. Shooting will commence this July and will be shot in Liverpool and America." Thanks to Anon!
