Kathryn Hahn has been added to the cast of DreamWorks' Will Ferrell-starrer
Anchor Man: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn
and Paul Rudd also star in the film, written by Ferrell with former Saturday
Night Live head writer Adam McKay. McKay also directs. Set in the 1970s,
Ferrell portrays a pompous San Diego anchor who is paired with an ambitious
female colleague (Applegate).

Applegate is set to star opposite Will Ferrell in DreamWorks'
Anchor Man: The Legend of Ron Burgundy for director Adam McKay.
Production
begins in the summer. The 1970s-set film sees a local news anchorman
with
perfect hair and an inflated ego (Ferrell) who believes he is
ready for a
national network job falling in love with a cutthroat feminist
reporter
(Applegate) also out to further her career and who threatens
his job.
