Friday 19th December 2003: Babylon Babies Update:
Gothika director Mathieu Kassovitz has apparently announced that Vincent Cassel will play the hero of the futuristic sci-fi thriller Babylon Babies, based on the Maurice G. Dantec book. The English language production is budgeted at $40 million and should begin pre-production next summer, with principal photography starting at the end of 2004. The film is about the growing gap between the rich and poor, which will be both commercial and personal. The other central role, a female, has yet to be cast.
