Zachary Levi and Emily Procter (CSI: Miami) are joining the cast of "Big Momma's House 2" for Regency Enterprises/20th Century Fox. Levi plays Kevin, an awkward FBI agent with a crush on a co-worker. Kevin is too nervous and shy to approach her until he meets Malcolm Turner (Lawrence). Procter will play the disgruntled wife of a workaholic who is under investigation for
murder. Big Momma goes undercover as the nanny in the household and shows Procter how to stop, relax, and reconnect with her family.

Filming of "Big Momma's House 2", the 20th Century Fox comedy sequel starring Martin Lawrence, will begin April 18th in Los Angeles and New Orleans. Lawrence will reprise his role as FBI Special Agent Malcolm Turner. Turner goes undercover as 'Big Momma' again to find his ex-partner's murderer. He goes undercover in the house of suspected computer criminal Alan Fuller, and he becomes attached to Fuller's kids. John Whitesell ("Malibu's Most Wanted") is directing.

Monday 23rd August 2004: Big Momma's House 2 Update:
John Whitesell is to direct the sequel to Big Momma's House for Regency Enterprises and 20th Century Fox. The sequel to the 2000 Martin Lawrence hit comedy will see Lawrence reprising his role as an FBI agent who goes undercover as a loud-mouthed matriarch not afraid to throw her ample weight around. Don Rhymer also returns to pen the script.

Fox/Regency have signed up Martin Lawrence to star in a Big Momma's House
sequel. The script (did the first have a script?) will be written by Don
Rhymer.
