Monday 11th November 2002: Biker Boyz Update

Reggie Rock Bythewood directs Biker Boyz, a kinda modern day western with motorcycles. Laurence Fishburne stars opposite the likes of Kid Rock, Djimon Hounsou and Eric La Salle in the story of undefeated street racer Smoke (Fishburne) whose title of 'King Of Cali' is in jeopardy after a young motorcycle racing prodigy called Kid (Derek Luke) comes onto the scene. Good story, but I can't help thinking Fast & The Furious. Still, Latino Review bagged the first pics from the movie. Two I have posted below. Hit the link for more.

ER star Eriq La Salle has joined the cast of the forthcoming Dreamworks movie Biker Boyz that has just started filming in L.A.. Directing/Writing is Reggie Rock Blythewood. Also in the cast is Derek Luke, Laurence Fishburne, Orlando Bloom, Lisa Bonet, Djimon Hounsou, Larenz Tate and Terence Howard.
