Brother Bear soundtrack Featuring music by Phil Collins Released November 24th via Disney Records
The exciting new Disney animated film 'Brother Bear' follows the incredible adventures of a young man named Kenai who is transformed into a bear. From his new perspective, Kenai discovers the world through the eyes of another as he is befriended by a bear cub named Koda, has a hilarious encounter with a pair of misguided moose, and finds himself pursued by his own sibling. The soundtrack - which features six new songs by Phil Collins - will be released via Disney Records on November 24th.
As well as six new songs, Phil Collins has also co-composed the score with Mark Mancina (Training Day, Speed) on his first soundtrack project since 1999's 2-million selling 'Tarzan'. Aside from Tina Turner's sensational performance on the opening track 'Great Spirits', other key collaborations come courtesy of gospel legends The Blind Boys Of Alabama as well as vocalist Orem Waters.
The closing credit theme song, 'Look Through My Eyes', will be released as a single on November 17th.
'Brother Bear' will hit UK cinemas on December 5th.

Friday 4th October 2002: Brother Bear Update:
Phil Collins has been talking about his work for the songs and score he is working on for Disney called Brother Bear. "I thought 'Tarzan' would be harder than it was," notes Phil, "This one is more the nightmare I had originally anticipated." The fact that it's an original story rather than an adaptation "in itself creates hiccups and rewriting situations," says Phil, who also cautions that the film might even get a title change. "But it's coming along."
