26th June 2003: Cabbages and Queens Update:
Director John Henderson has signed up Keri Russell and
Nathan Lane to star
in Cabbages and Queens that will start filming in London
next month. The
movie will centre on Russell as an American documentary
filmmaker in London
who is assigned a story on a quirky British theater
group. While
masquerading as a stage manager, she unwittingly becomes
involved in a
jewel heist. She attempts to thwart it along with some
help from suicidal
thespian Gerard (Lane). Also in the cast are Simon Callow,
Darren Boyd,
Brian Blessed, Greg Wise and Emilia Fox. Adrian Rigelsford
and Kim Lamont
wrote the script for the project.

Boyd, Emilia
Fox, Greg Wise and Brian Blessed will all star in Cabbages
and Queens, a new
jewel heist comedy, which begins shooting at the end
of the month.
Wednesday 4th June 2003: Cabbages & Queens Update:
Director John Henderson has had his movie Cabbages
& Queens picked up for financing by AV Pictures.
The movie will star Keri Russell, Nathan Lane, Darren
Boyd, Emilia Fox, Greg Wise, Simon Callow, Joss Ackland
and Brian Blessed. The movie has been written by Adrian
Rigelsford and Kim Lamont. Producing are Gordon Anderson,
David Kraftman and Adrian Rigelsford of London production
outfit Banana Skin Productions with filming starting
on June 30th in London. The
comedy is billed as a "backstage romp through the
London theatre world with a jewel heist thrown in for
good measure."
