phenomenon of British firms basing their call centres
in India is being
turned into a film. The Call Centre, billed as a comedy
and love story, will
be written by Kumars at No 42 star Sanjeev Bhaskar.
An increasing number of
UK firms, such as British Airways and Prudential, are
choosing to set up
their customer services centres in India to cut costs
The film, which will
be set in India and the UK, is to be directed by Nigel
Cole , whose current
feature Calendar Girls is the toast of the Cannes Film
Festival.
