Camelot 3000? Ok what the hell is that about then? Well for all you comics geeks amongst you you should know what this is. Camelot 3000 is the very first 12 part Maxi Series. Call it a forerunner of Watchmen if you will. Oh it was also the very first comic that DC had released in DECADES that wasn't just for kiddies - hell they even aimed it at mature readers. If it wasn't for Camelot 3000 would we even have had Watchmen or Dark Knight? Who can say.

The comic was written by Mike W Barr and illustrated by Brian Bolland, who is famous in the UK for creating a definitive Judge Dredd and in the US for the Alan Moore Batman comic book The Killing Joke.

Anyway, what is Camelot 3000 about then? Well its the 31st Century and King Arthur is reincarnated to save mankind against aliens (no, not that movie franchise!).

The Canton Company are the ones who have the rights to Camelot 3000. They have charged Ethan Rieff and Cyrus Voris with the script. Apparently the producers had gotten Renny Harlin interested in the project.
