Friday 16th May 2003: Carmen Update: Looks like there's a fight ahead. Director Adam
Shankman is suing Jneiifer Lopez over the opera Carmen.
He ascertains that he pitched the idea of a big screen
movie based on Carmen to her. She then pitched the idea
herself to Universal Pictures. Her spokesman had this
to say "We have not seen the complaint, but I'm
surprised that anyone would claim intellectual domain
over a property as well known as Carmen."
