Owen Wilson has been talking about Pixar's next project Cars "It's a world of cars. That's the hook, (my character is) a race car that is kind of cocky and is going to learn his lesson. It's a voice kind of similar to my own."

Thursday 12th February 2004: Cars Update:
Larry The Cable Guy has announced on his website that he has been signed up as one of the voice's for Pixar's cars:
"It's been announced that I am also gonna be a voice in a Pixar movie called "CARS" coming up in the holiday season of 2005. It stars Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, Paul Newman, and Richard Petty, THIS MOVIE IS UNBELIEVABLE!! YA GOTTA SEE IT! These folks are the best at what they do and this movie carries on that tradition. This was one of the funnest project I've ever done in my life (other than taking a Playboy and cutting out the dirty parts and forming them into words that said Happy Birthday for my dads birthday in '81) The people at Pixar are the nicest and the coolest people to work for. I thank them for the opportunity. "

Monday 16th June 2003: Cars Update:
Lee Unkrich has been talking about The Incredibles and also Cars that are

Thursday 8th May 2003: Cars Update:
Pixar Chief Executive Steve Jobs revealed some interesting snippets of
information during the company’s recent today's first quarter results
conference call. He said that Finding Nemo, which hits cinemas in the U.S.
at the end of this month, should be available on DVD and video in the fourth
quarter of this year. He added that Pixar's goal is to release one movie a
year, but he doesn't think the company has the capacity to do more than
that. Therefore, a sequel would have to be the only film that Pixar releases
in a particular year. That said, Pixar has ideas for a part three to Toy
Story and a sequel to Monsters Inc. While sequels are more likely to be
successful than a new film, Jobs said that Pixar will show it can find an
audience with new films and original stories. Jobs also revealed that
Finding Nemo will arrive in American cinemas with a trailer for The
Incredibles, the next co-production with Disney that is due in the holiday
season of 2004. The last film under their current deal with Disney would be
Cars, scheduled for the 2005 holidays.
