Monday 25th October 2004 Casanova Update:
Andy has just sent us in the following super cool pics of the filming of the new Casanova project that stars Heath Ledger and uber hot UK babe Sienna Miller. Andy also told us a bit about his filming, and congrats to him and the wife on their Anniversary!

"It was my wifes 40th Birthday, so we went to Venice for 3 days to relax and see the sights. We have been together for 22 years and Venice was our first holiday together. As we were leaving on the Monday afternoon, we decided to go St Marks for the last time, as we came round the corner St Marks was blocked off ( more than usual as there was flooding at the time ) there were lots of Security people around the fence, I noticed they has badges saying " Casonova ". I then started to take a couple of pictures, at that point I noticed Heath and started to film him, in the clip I have he looks at me and looks away ( not too happy ). I then filmed a scene from the film, with Heath being marched away, about a 10 sec clip. I also saw Oliver Platt but he had he back to me, so no chance of a photo."

Jeremy Irons is to star in Lasse Hallstrom's Casanova along with Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller. Irons will play Pucci in the film about the famed seducer who learns the meaning of true love when he meets a woman immune to his charms. A new draft of the script is being worked on by Michael Cristofer.

Tuesday 4th May 2004: Casanova Update:
Sienna Miller will star as Heath Ledger's love interest in Casanova from director Lasse Hallstrom. The Touchstone romance is about the famed seducer who learns the meaning of true love when he meets a woman immune to his charms.

Monday 15th March 2004: Casanova Update:
Director Lasse Hallstrtom has signed up Heath Ledger to star in Casanova. The movie is a comedy about Casanova and his pursuit of the one woman in Venice who doesn't fall prey to his charm. Filming will start in Venice this August.

Saturday 16th November 2002: Casanova Update:
Lasse Hallstrom has been signed up by Touchstone to direct a movie based on the life of Casanova. The script has been written by Kimberly Simi with a rewrite by Michael Cristofer. Filming will start on Casanova early next year.
