Tuesday 8th November 2005: Movie News: Castlevania: Item Posted by: Gary Gray: Here we go again, with yet another film company thinking they can make a big screen movie out of a game. Wish one of them would actually make a decent movie instead of the dross that has been produced so far. Unfortunately it doesn't look like this will be the case with Crystal Sky Pictures adaptation of the Castlevania game. They have signed up Paul W.S. Anderson to direct it, with Dimension distributing it. The script will focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity's last hope. But no doubt he'll whittle that down to a big fight in a castle.

Thursday 3rd November 2005: Movie News: Castlevania: Item Posted by: Rich Badley: Crystal Sky Pictures have picked up the rights to the series of horror video games Castlevania from Konami. Alien vs Predator director Paul W.S. Anderson is set to adapt and direct. The film will focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity's last hope.
