Jessica has sent in the following update on A Cinderella Story "The High School used in the film A Cinderella High School was Monrovia High School. This is the High School that I attend. They used almost every part of the school. It was filmed for 12 days I believe, while Summer School was in progress. Hilary Duff was very pleasant to the fans and students that attend MHS." Casting additions to A Cinderella Story with Jennfier Coolidge and Regina King signed on to play respectively Nora a diner waitress who marries Hillary Duff's character's father and becomes her evil stepmother. King will play Mandy, who is the warm and likable woman who befriends Duff's character.
Monday 9th June 2003: Cinderella Story Udate:
Director Mark Rosman has signed up Chad Michael Murray to star alongside
Hilary Duff in Cinderella Story. The movie is being produced by Gaylord
Films for Warner Bros. Producing are Dylan Sellers, Clifford Werber and
Hunt Lowry. The movie tells the tale of a young and slightly dorky high
school student who goes through a transformation, becoming one of the
hottest girls in school. Murray would play her love interest. Filming
starts at the end of this month.
