Bodhi Elfman and Bruce McGill appear alongside star Tom Cruise
in director Michael Mann's "Collateral". Elfman
plays a boistrous passenger in a cab driven by Jaime Foxx,
while McGill plays a detective chasing down Cruise. Elfman
next appears in "Love Comes to the Executioner."

Javier Bardem has been cast in the Tom Cruise starrer Collateral, which Michael Mann is directing. Bardem will shoot what is described as "a small role" in the film, which also stars Jamie Foxx.

23rd October 2003: Collateral Update:
Jada Pinkett Smith has been raving about starring with Tom
Cruise in Michael Mann's Collateral. Cruise stars in the thriller
as an assassin who forces a cab driver (Jamie Foxx) to drive
him to his hits. "It's going great! I'm really enjoying
it," said the actress, who plays an Assistant State Attorney
and is one of the characters on Cruise's hit list. "Jamie
Foxx is incredible. I love Michael Mann and Tom Cruise is
just a ball of sunshine! He's just a ball of electricity and
I really, really enjoy him. It's been a wonderful experience
and I'm having a lot of fun."

Mark
Ruffalo is in talks to replace Val Kilmer in Michael Mann's
Collateral
opposite Tom Cruise. Ruffalo would play a detective on the
heels of Cruise's
character.

26th September 2003: Collateral Update:
Val Kilmer has had to drop out of Tom Cruise's next movie
Collateral due to his exisitng commitment to Alexander. His
role in Collateral is still open, Dennis Farina has signed
on for a different role.

4th September 2003: Collateral Update:
Jada Pinkett Smith is in talks to star in director Michael
Mann's
Collateral. Dates are still being worked out for the actress
to join the Tom
Cruise starrer, which is scheduled to begin filming next month.
Cruise plays
a contract killer who forces a taxicab driver (Jamie Foxx)
to chauffeur him
around on a series of hits. Pinkett Smith will star as the
love interest of
Foxx's character. Val Kilmer also recently signed onto the
project, playing
a detective on Cruise's heels.

19th August 2003: Collateral Update:
Val Kilmer is in talks to join Tom Cruise and Jamie
Foxx in the Michael
Mann-directed Collateral, which is due to start filming in
October. The
movie stars Foxx as a Los Angeles cab driver forced to serve
as a chauffeur
to a contract killer (Cruise) on a string of hits. Kilmer
will star as a
detective on the trail of Cruise's character.
Wednesday
17th July 2003: Collateral Update: Director Michael Mann has signed up
Jamie Foxx to star with Tom Cruise in Collateral, which starts shooting in
October. Foxx will play Max, a failed comedy writer whose mundane existence
as an L.A. cab driver takes a dramatic turn when he picks up a contract killer
and is forcibly pressed into service as his chauffeur on a series of hits. 
Thursday 15th June 2003: Collateral Update: Adam
Sandler is being linked with a role in Michael Manns Collateral. The
actor has apparently had a meeting with the director about taking the role
of Max, the meek cab driver who picks up a passenger (Cruise) who takes him
hostage.

Tuesday 3rd June 2003: Collateral Update: Michael
Manns next directorial project will be the DreamWorks drama Collateral.
He reportedly has Tom Cruise in his crosshairs to play the lead role of a
contract killer.
