A movie is in production that will be absed on the life of the 16th century Spanish explorer Hernan Cortes. The movie will follow Cortes as he sails westward from Cuba in 1519 in his quest to expand the Spanish empire and the subsequent destruction of the Aztec empire.

A movie is in production that will be absed on the life of the 16th century Spanish explorer Hernan Cortes. The movie is being developed by Hollywood Gang Productions with Andrucha Waddington attached to direct with the script by Nicholas Kazan. The movie will follow Cortes as he sails westward from Cuba in 1519 in his quest to expand the Spanish empire and the subsequent destruction of the Aztec empire. For an indie spanish language type project the movie has a huge budget of near $40 million.
