Friday 25th July 2003: Dada Changed My Life Update:
Just received the following info on Dada Changed My Life "
The film has been made with the voluntary collaboration of many
people and shot in six different languages. We have two versions, one
subtitled in English and another in Spanish. The film's introduction
includes Dada4s history and goes on to present the performances and events
which took place in the Cabaret Voltaire during the two months in which the
artists occupied the house, mixed with fake interviews
relating to the theme of Dada and the Cabaret Voltaire.

The film is just finished and we have won a prize in an
international festival in the USA, for best documentary at the DV
AWARDS 2003 in Utah which recognize outstanding creative and technical
achievements in the emerging world of digital video production. Please see
http://www.dvawards.com/Spring2003_winners.html for more details.
We are very happy about the award and even happier because the Cabaret
Voltaire is finally going to be a cultural space.

In Spain, we are in contact with Guggenheim (Bilbao) and the Reina Sofma (Madrid) Museums to project the documentary there. Now it is in the
Official Selection at the Festival Internacional de Cine Digital Isla de la Palma, Canaria. In New York we are contact with the Anthology Film
Archives, Millennium, Ocularis, the Pioneer Theater and the Robert Beck Memorial Cinema plans to show our work along with other Dada films, music
and events. In Mexico DF, el Centro de la Imagen is interested too. We know it is going to be a complete success and we are managing to move it
all around the world."
