Jeff Garlin has recently stated that a sequel to Daddy Day Care is no longer in the works.

Revolution Studios is developing a sequel to Daddy Day Care, to be titled
Daddy Day Camp. Toy Story screenwriters Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow are
writing the script for Eddie Murphy, who would reprise his role as a
kid-harried dad.
