The Pang Brothers, Danny & Oxide Pang have
been signed up to direct the big screen adaptation
of the comic book property The Darkness. It
is thought that Miramax/Dimension will distribute
the movie that will follow a Mafia hit man who
discovers he is heir to a supernatural, dangerous
force. No writer or stars are yet attached to
the movie.

Dimension Films have made a deal with Platinum Studios and
Top Cow Productions, Inc. to adapt the comic book The Darkness
created by Marc Silvestri , Garth Ennis and David Wohl.

Darkness is a comic book property owned by Top Cow Comics
that is in development at Columbia Pictures. Producing the
movie adaptation is Chris Lee of Chris Lee Productions.
Rumours
are that Andrew Lau is signed up to direct the movie. Chris
Morgan is writing a script for The Darkness movie.

word on casting yet.
