Paramount Pictures has acquired film rights
to Dan Zevin's "The Day I Turned Uncool:
Confessions of a Reluctant Grown-Up" and
set up the project with producer Kevin Misher
("The Interpreter"). Zevin's book,
published by Villard in 2002, revolves around
the author's awkward transition from his 20s
to his 30s. During this period, he employed
his first cleaning lady, became attached abnormally
to his dog, and committed flagrant acts of home
improvement.
