Director Tony Scott has dropped out of helming the Touchstone Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer movie Deja Vu. The official reason given is that he only pulled out due to the logistical and scheduling problems that arose after Hurricane Katrina swamped New Orleans, the film's key location. However Disney and Bruckheimer are still insisting that the project will go ahead with star Denzel Washington. But that they will instead delay the filming to the start of next year to allow the new director (when they are hired) to get up to speed. Now if that's the case, why did Scott walk, or has he some other project ready to go then?
