Another Mexico based drug/ revenge movie. Vin Diesel plays the role of a widower who seeks revenge on his wifes killers. They just happen to be the Tijuana drug cartel. Oh dear. Also in the cast line up is Go's Timothy Oliphant and Angel's Julia Lee.

Makers of the hit computer game 'Diablo' had something to say about the films original title, which was......Diablo, but New Line stuck 'El' in front of it to make them happy and to save a lawsuit against them.

Not a great deal else is known yet, except for the fact that the films soundtrack will be headed by none other that Dr. Dre and will be released on his own record label Aftermath. So expect a belter! The film is due in the early part of 2002.
