50 First Dates soundtrack Released February 9th on Maverick
Features Seal, Wayne Wonder, Wyclef Jean and many more.
'50 First Dates' is a new romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler
as marine biologist Henry Roth who finds the perfect woman,
Lucy Whitmore (played by Drew Barrymore) and falls head over
heels for her. But when he sees her the following day, she hasn't
a clue as to who he is. Lucy suffers from a rare brain disorder
that wipes her memory clean every night. Now, with the help
of his friend Ula (played by Rob Schneider), he has to concoct
new and increasingly clever way to meet her and get her to fall
for him everyday. The accompanying album is released on February
9th on Maverick.
The concept of the '50 First Dates' soundtrack is classic 80s
love songs reinterpreted by modern day artists. Wayne Wonder,
Seal and Wyclef Jean all feature, as do solo songs by Mark McGrath
(Sugar Ray) and Dryden Mitchell (Alien Ant Farm). Gwen Stefani
also features as backing vocalist for Elan Atias.

went back yesterday afternoon and they were in full production.
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore were visible on the beach. I
asked how long the Sandy Beach location was to be used and was

scenes at and near Sandy Beach Park and the "blowhole"

Director Peter Segal has been signed up to direct Fifty
First Kisses by Columbia Pictures. The script has been written
by George Wing, with rewrites by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore will reunite for the romantic
comedy Fifty First Kisses. The film is a romantic comedy about
a man who falls in love with a woman after a memorable encounter,
only to find that she suffers from severe short-term memory
loss and has no idea who he is. He has to get her to fall in
love with him all over again every day according to Variety.
Sandler is signed up already and Barrymore is said to be in
final negotiations. The two actors co-starred in comedy 'The
Wedding Singer'.
