9th February 2005: Family Jewels:
Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Films have hired
Abdi Nazemian and Micah Schraft to write the script
for "Family Jewels," a remake of the 1965
Jerry Lewis comedy. The film depicts an orphaned rich
girl, who must choose between relatives fighting for
custody of her while discovering that her chauffeur
is also her best friend.

Thursday 22nd May 2003: Family Jewels Update:
Paramount
and Nickelodeon have tapped screenwriter Peter Ackerman
(Ice Age) to pen the script for Family Jewels, a remake
of the 1965 Jerry Lewis
comedy. The film centres on an orphaned rich girl who
must choose between
relatives who are fighting for custody of her while
discovering that her
chauffeur is also her best friend. In the original film,
Lewis played a
total of seven parts.
