The US distribution rights to Director Richard
Linklater's Fast Food Nation have been snapped
up by Fox Searchlight. The movie is a dramatization
of the Eric Schlosser expose of the fast food
industry. How he got a movie out of what was
pretty mucha documentary story is anyone's guess
but should be very interesting indeed, if not
for the cast alone of Patricia Arquette, Bobby
Cannavale, Luis Guzman, Ethan Hawke, Ashley
Johnson, Greg Kinnear, Kris Kristofferson, Avril
Lavigne, Esai Morales and Wilmer Valderrama.
