Dustin Hoffman will star in Father
Knows Less for New Line Cinema. Directing will
be Charles Shyer, with the script by Larry Spencer
who is rewriting a script by Aline Brosh McKenna
and John August. The movie will follow a record
industry mogul who finds himself stuck with
the day-to-day affairs of his family when his
wife leaves him. For help, he turns to the kids
from his first marriage, the ones he neglected
when he was building his music career.
