Texas Battle, Alexz Johnson, Sam Easton, Kris Lemche, Jesse Moss, Gina Holden, and Chelan Simmons have signed on to "Cheating Death: Final Destination 3." Jamie Isaac Conde ("The Fountain"), Alexander Kalugin ("The Chronicles of Riddick"), and Dustin Milligan ("Slither") are also about to join the cast.

Ryan Merriman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will star in "Cheating Death: Final Destination 3", New Line Cinema's latest installment of the popular horror series. The story is set six years after the events of the first movie and focuses on a high school senior who has a premonition of a deadly amusement-park accident involving her and her friends. When the premonition becomes a reality, those who survive have to deal with the consequences of "cheating death." James Wong ("Final Destination") is directing.

"Final Destination 3" will start shooting on March
21st and wrap on June 9th, with James Wong directing.
Friday
21st January 2005: Final Destination 3:
James Wong will direct "Final Destination 3" for New
Line Cinema. Wong directed the 2000 original, which he wrote
with Glen Morgan and Jeffrey Reddick. The third film, written
by Wong and Morgan, follows high school student Wendy Christensen
who fails to stop the fated roller coaster ride that she predicted
would cause the deaths of several of her friends. She and her
schoolmate, Kevin Fischer, fight against time to stop death
from returning to the survivors of the accident. The feature
will be filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.

New Line have greenlight a third Final Destination and have
brought back the brains behind the original, James Wong as director
and Glen Morgan as screenwriter.

Rock chick Kelly Osbourne has been rumoured for a role in the
next Final Destination movie which will take place in an amusement
park and could be in 3D.

Skut has been in touch with the following info "
Just letting you know that in the end of the DVD "Fast
Track" - which is a 'popup video' type of subtitles - on
Final Destination 2, it says that there is indeed a third final
desintation in the works. This DVD came out July 22nd in the
US."

Rumours are circulating that the plot of Final Destination
3 will feature an amusement park rollercoaster fiasco.

Actor Tony Todd has confirmed that talk about a possible
third Final
Destination film has begun. "The producers are knocking
around ideas," he
said, "perhaps with more than one scene. Although I do
like the pressure
being off, without having to carry a movie and yet still remain
prominent."
As for the likelihood of a new Candyman movie, he added: "I'm
reaching out
to Clive Barker for another trip to the well. With the advent
of popularity
in horror currently, I think the time is right for the definitive
version. I
certainly want a crack before a current rapper gets a crack
at inheriting
the mantle."

Director
David R. Ellis has been talking about the possibility of another
sequel to Final Destination "Well, they've got me already
as an option to do Final Destination 3 if they decide to do
it. Truthfully, I think a twist would be to come back and do
it as a comedy and spoof the Final Destination movies. It might
be interesting. We've left it wide open for a sequel, and I
feel—and New Line feels—that the movie is going to
be successful, so I'm sure there will be a third film, whether
it's a comedy or a serious bloodbath."
