Tuesday 22nd April 2003: The Getaway Update: Sony's
Screen Gems is in final negotiations to acquire all
feature film
rights to popular video game The Getaway. The studio
is hoping to send the
project into production early next year, with a scheduled
release date to
coincide with the next edition of the video game. Both
are expected to roll
out sometime next year.
