Tuesday 26th August 2003: Get Fuzzy Update:
Helmer Rob Minkoff's Sony-based company, Sprocketdyne Entertainment, has
acquired the rights to comic strip Get Fuzzy. Making his live-action helming
debut will be animation director Kirk Wise, who helmed Disney's animated
hits Beauty and the Beast and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Minkoff and Wise
are old colleagues dating back to Minkoff's work directing Disney's The Lion
King. The film is intended to be a CGI and live-action combination similar
to Minkoff's own creation Stuart Little.
