British screenwriter/actor Robin Redfield has stepped
in at the last minute to play the villain in the supernatural
action thriller GHOST SEEKER from UK indie film company
The Edge produced by media outlet MERC.
Robin Redfield (appearing late this year in UNDERCOVER)
fills out a cast which is headlined by newcomers Neil
James, James Clark, and Laoine Perez, and carries the
able support of Haidee Augusta (last seen in THE ONLY
HOTEL) and J.C Anderson (appearing fleetingly in X-MEN
2 as an upspeaking academy mutant).
Robin
Redfield is enthusiastic at joining however late into
the intense shoot, voicing his choice to step into the
role when approached as being based on "the maverick
crew, overall vision, and being allowed to write more
of the villain and his backstory into the script."

against a possessed police officer for an artefact that
could wreak havoc on the living world

Redfield told The Z Review "I wouldn't catch a
bus this late, yet alone something as complicated as
a movie with such a tight schedule, but the maverick
crew and their overall vision, and that they allowed
me license to work on deepening the script of the villain
and his backstory won me over. Also I get to wear a
great costume and work with fellow mid-rents Haidee
Augusta and J.C Anderson. Previously contact has been
reputation only and now we're kicking ass together.
Well, ultimately I'll be the one to get whupped, obviously."
