10th December 2004: The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Jeff Nathanson has been signed up by Disney to direct The Ghosts
of Girlfriends Past. This project looked to have been put on
the backburner after lots of talent had been attahced and then
dropped out of starring. The movie will follow a bachelor who
attends his younger brother's wedding, at which he is visited
by spectral girlfriends of his lothario past.

2004: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past Update:
Disney have tapped Mark Waters to direct Ghosts of Girlfriends
past, previously set to star Ben Affleck. The script from John
Lucas and Scott Moore is a comedy about a bachelor who goes
to his younger brother's wedding, where he is visited by the
ghosts of his past girlfriends.

23rd October 2003: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past Update:
In another blow to his career, after the travesty that was Gigli,
Disney have pulled the plug on Ben Affleck's next movie Ghosts
of Girlfriends Past. They had started work on the project with
director Betty Thomas just four weeks ago and Affleck was on
a pay or play deal, Disney must have beens eriously scared of
losing big on the project if at this early stage they are prepared
to take such a loss, they will no doubt hope some other studio
will pick up the movie for development.

titled Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, has appeared online. To get

The plot finds cold, callous ladies man Colin Mead (Affleck)
– the coolest, well-known fashion photographer, a blend
of Herb and Scavullo – reluctant to attend his brother
wedding, as he is a firm non-believer in things like love and
marriage. Eventually deciding to go, he finds there the former
love of his life, Jamie Perotti. Although she still loves him
as well, Jamie is too disgusted by his behavior to pursue him
seriously. When his antics come close to ruining the wedding,
the unrepentant Mead is visited by the Charles Dickens-like
“The Ghost of Girlfriends Past.”

has Ben Affleck attached to star. It centres on a bachelor who
goes to his

Walt Disney Co. are in negotiations with Ben Affleck to star in
a project
called Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. The project is being developed
by Sean
Bailey, Chris Moore and Jon Shestack of LivePlanet. The movie
would tell
the story of a bachelor who attends his brothers wedding and is
visited by
the ghosts of his past girlfriends.
