4th March 2003: Giants Update: White Oleander helmer Peter Kosminsky is in line
to direct WWII drama Giants from a screenplay by Dan
Gordon (The Hurricane). The plot revolves around a German
soldier who tries to save a group of Jewish children
from execution by leading them across the Alps with
the SS hot on their trail. Production is slated to begin
in the autumn, shooting mainly in Eastern Europe.
