Adam Sandler's production company, Happy Madison,
has picked up "The Gilmores of Beverly
Hills," a comedy in which Chris Rock co-wrote
and is attached to star. The story focuses on
the misadventures of a lower-income black family
living in Beverly Hills. Rock will play a limo
driver. Sandler will produce with Happy Madison's
Jack Giarraputo. Filming is expected to begin
this fall. Paramount will handle distribution.
