5th February 2003: Have Gun, Will Travel Update: Kerner Entertainment are developing at Paramount
Pictures a movie based on TV show Have Gun, Will Travel.
Writing the script will be Daniel Pyne. The TV show
ran from 1957 - 1963 and followed the main character
who lived a split life as a well-off society man and
a reluctant hired avenger of evil. The identifying graphic
was a calling card of a white knight chess piece and
the inscription, "Have Gun, Will Travel ... Wire
Paladin, San Francisco." The feature will follow
Paladin's discovery of his destiny as he enters the
West in 1875, settling in San Francisco, far from his
dark past in the East.
