Fully Loaded update:
Cheryl Hines is to star as the love interest of Michael Keaton
in the forth-coming Herbie movie. Lindsay Lohan stars in the
film along with Matt Dillon, Breckin Meyer, Justin Long and
Alanna Ubach.

6th September 2004: Herbie: Fully Loaded Update:
The first pics of the new Herbie car have been snapped over
at Coming
Soon. The vehicle was also in action over the weekend at
the NASCAR Nextel Cup Pop Secret 500.

2004: Herbie: Fully Loaded Update:
Stars Michael Keaton and Lindsay Lohan are already attached
to the revamping of the Herbie franchise and today it was announced
Matt Dillon, Justin Long, and Breckin Meyer will also go along
for the ride. Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant's screenplay
sees the classic VW in the world of NASCAR racing with Dillon
as one of the bad boys of the sport. Angela Robinson directs.

Actress Lindsay Lohan is to star in an updated version of The
Love Bug which concerns the VW Beetle Herbie.

20th February 2004: Herbie: Fully Loaded Update:
The Love Bug will ride again as Disney prepare Herbie: Fully
Loaded with Angela Robinson set to direct a a Tom Lennon and
Robert Ben Garant script. The project will see the VW Beetle
competing in NASCAR racing. Lindsay Lohan is the actress they
want behind the wheel.

24th October 2003: Herbie: Fully Loaded Update:
Comedy writing team Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant have
been tapped by
Disney to pen the remake of Herbie: Fully Loaded. Several previous
drafts
will be scrapped and the two writers will be starting from scratch.
The
Lennon and Garant take puts Herbie in the world of NASCAR.
