It tells the story of a struggling dancer, played by Dark Angel star Jessica

Just received the following set report for Honey " I was an featured extra in the movie for 4 sceens, one was shot as a partysceen up in the Bayview area w/Genuine. And the other in the entertanment district with Shawn Desmond for the music video shook. I had tons of fun and the dancing is incredible, you can tell they put a lot of work into themoves. Its something from a Christina Agularia video (dirrty") at times then it changes into something from a B2k video. The party was a high class, snobbish type of get together where we all had champange and music blasting, I guess it is when Jessica hits it big in the dancing world later in the movie." Dark Horizons got a great spy report from the currently filming Honey "I'm currently sitting in my apartment, locked into my chair with the tv down due to an A.D. asking me "not to walk around while they do the last shots" in the apartment beneath me. They moved onto my front lawn this morning at 6am with their generators and lights and had been setting up all day for this night interior shot. My apartment is about 160 years old and I guess they think it resembles a New York "inner city" apartment. Judging by the "dressing down" they did with the community centre around the corner (they added tons of trash and graphitti to the building), I'm assuming they think my building is pretty slummy. I don't know if I should be insulted or complimented... "

Director Billie Woodruff has signed up Joy Bryant (soon to costar in
Antwone Fisher) to star in Honey for Universal Pictures. Also co-starring
in Honey are Jessica Alba and Mekhi Phifer. The move tells the tale of an
inner-city woman who fulfills a dream of becoming a successful video
choreographer until an unforeseen setback causes her to discover greater
satisfaction in creating dance with neighborhood kids.
