Another remake, but this time, at least it's one most people under fifty won't have seen let alone hard of seeing as how it's based on the 1955 Jackie Gleason comedy. But wait you say, Gleason was a white man? And Cedric The Entertainer is a Black Man? I for one could care less about crap like that all that matters is if it's any good. And for that we will have to wait till until 15th July in the US. Who knows when we in the UK will get as no release date has been set, unless it's a huge hit I'd bet on this being straight to video as apart from his turn in Intolerable Cruelty Cedric the Entertainer is not much a name in the UK.

Monday 18th October 2004: The Honeymooners update:
Eric Stoltz and John Leguizamo have joined the cast of The Honeymooners also starring starring Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps, Gabrielle Union and Regina Hall.

Monday 29th September 2003: The Honeymooners Update:
Writer Don Rhymer has been signed up by Paramount Pictures/Deep River Prods. to rewrite The Honeymooners. Signed up to star in the remake are Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps. He has been signed with the aim of slimming 5-10 million from the planned budget of $35 million. This has set the start date back to early next year.

Monday 18th August 2003: The Honeymooners Update:
Paramount Pictures has hired the writing team of Barry Blaustein and David
Sheffield to script its contemporary version of The Honeymooners. Cedric the
Entertainer and Mike Epps have been cast in the Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton
roles, respectively, with John Schultz (Like Mike) directing.

Tuesday 6th May 2003: The Honeymooners Update:
John Schultz is set to direct The Honeymooners, based on the classic Jackie
Gleason 1950s CBS television series. Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps
topline the project in the Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton roles, respectively.
The start date has not yet been determined, but producers hope to go into
production in the autumn.

Thursday 20th March 2003: The Honeymooners Update:
Paramount Pictures/Deep River Productions look to have signed up Cedric The Entertainer and Mike Epps for The Honeymooners. The script is being written by Danny Jacobson with the movie being based on the TV show from the 50's.

14th May 2002: The Honeymooner's Update:
James Gandolfini is considering making this movie during his break in filming The Soprano's. If so shooting will begin toward the end of the summer.
