A different sort of video clip of Paris Hilton is available over at Entertainment Tonight, she's got her clothes on for starters before you start clicking frantically. She's on set talking up Warner's forthcoming remake of House of Wax. Elisha Cuthbert also stars in the horror that follows a group of friends on their way to a college football game who fall prey to a pair of murderous brothers in an abandoned small town. They discover that the brothers have expanded upon the area's main attraction - the House of Wax - and created an entire town filled with the wax-coated corpses of unlucky visitors. Now the group must find a way out before they too become permanent exhibits in the House of Wax.

Brian Van Holt has been signed up for the lead role in the currently filming House of Wax.

Monday 10th May 2004: House of Wax Update:
Clint at Moviehole has posted up the follow information on casting for House of Wax " Brian Van Holt, probably best known for his role as Michael Boxer in last year's "S.W.A.T", has joined the cast of the "House of Wax" remake in Queensland. Van Holt is the sixth actor to have flown from the states for the film. Another new addition to the cast is local Australian actress Emma Lung. Lung, who's credits include "Ned" and "Garage Days", is one of only a few local actors to have scored roles in the film. The other prominent Australian face in the cast is Damon Herriman, who co-starred with Lung in "Ned" and is remembered for his role in the mini-series "Brides of Christ". The film - now shooting at Warner Bros Movie World on the Gold Coast - features "24" star Elisha Cuthbert as Sally Jones, Jared Padalecki as Wade, Paris Hilton (who's been ordered to lose weight apparently) as Shannon Taylor, and Chad Michael Murray as Adam Anderson. Jon Abrahams ["Scary Movie"] also has a role. "

Another addition to the House of Wax cast with Jared Padalecki being signed up, he will play the love interest of Elisa Cuthbert's character.

Warner Bros. look to have signed up Paris Hilton to star in House of Wax. She will play one of a group of friends who fall prey to a sinister plot while passing through a small town on their way to a college football game. Filming will start in May in Australia. Let's hope she is the first character to get killed off!

Dark Castle are reported to have signed up spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra to helm House of Wax 3D.

Wednesday 28th January 2004: House of Wax 3-D Update:
FilmJerk have been in touch with the following "Further details are now emerging on Robert Zemeckis and Joel Silver's remake of the 1953 film "House of Wax," which is scheduled to begin mid-April in Australia. The feature will be directed by first-time filmmaker Jaume Serra, the Dark Castle-financed project will be presented in 3-D. Little has been known about the film outside of a three-line summary released earlier this year."
