Word reaches us that the script has been completed for the Jim Carrey starring Howard Hughes biopic that is being based on the book by Richard Hack Hughes: The Private Diaries, Letters and Memos. No word on a filming date as Jim Carrey is still thought to have to approve the script.

Friday 29th August 2002: Howard Hughes Biopic Update:
Christopher Nolan released some details of the Howard Hughes Biopic that he is working on at the moment that Jim Carrey is attached to to star in. He is currently working on the script and it will take some time due to the amount of material involved. He also indicated he wasn't concerned about a possible Scorses movie on the same subject "Not for me, there’s no sense of any kind of race simply because it’s too difficult a subject. And I think that’s why these projects have tended not to happen in the past, so I think we need to take our time and really try to crack the subject. So I don’t think there’s any point in worrying about what other people are doing and any time you go into making a film there are always other factors around and you just have to believe in the project you are doing, that it will find it’s way to get made".
