Ice Station Zebra Synopsis:
Remake of 1968's "Ice Station Zebra," the Rock Hudson-led adaptation of the novel by Alistair MacLean. Farrell would play US Naval Commander James Ferraday. The new film is expected to more closely follow the book than the original film but will also be modernized. In the original, a US nuclear submarine tries to rescue a British meteorological team trapped on the polar ice cap. Unbeknownst to them, the rescue attempt is really a cover-up for one of the most desperate espionage missions of the Cold War - a mission that will be plagued by sabotage, murder, and disaster.
