Jeepers Creepers 2 has broken the Labour Day weekend record in the USA which
was set by the first Jeepers Creepers. The teen horror sequel managed $18.5m
(£11.8m) over the holiday weekend, compared with the original's haul of
$15.8m (£10.1m) in the same period of 2001.

Wednesday 27th August 2003: Jeepers Creepers 2 Update:
Jonathan Breck, better known as movie baddie The Creeper, has been talking
his character ahead of the release of forthcoming sequel Jeepers Creepers
2. “Somebody asked me if I was tipping my hat to any of the other horror
icons out there,” he said. “I feel that's why people think this horror
character is so fresh, because I really didn't come to it with any
subconscious ideas of how to play him. I didn't come to it with any of those
characters in my brain, I just approached the role as I would any other role
and consequently we were able to do some new things with him.” But what
about the price of fame, does he still get noticed, despite all that
make-up? “I was on a train in New York and this guy came up to me and said:
‘You're Jonathan Breck! You were The Creeper!’ He started this whole
conversation with me about the end of the film, that he thought he read this
one thing in my eyes. He asked me what I was thinking, and the crazy thing
was, he nailed it exactly. That was one of those moments where you go 'wow'.
All this preparation and all this work that I do, to communicate, and all I
have is my eyes to communicate with in these films, that totally makes it
through to the audience. I love the excitement that the fans have about The
Creeper, I really do.

Four images from upcoming frightfest sequel Jeepers Creepers 2 have appeared
online. Directed and written by the creator of the original movie, Victor
Salva, this time the Creeper is terrorising a busload of high school
basketball champs, their coach and school cheerleaders returning back to
their hometown. Along the way their bus is attacked by the Creeper, now
nearing the end of his month-long gorge on human flesh. You can see the

Just received an email with some information on Jeepers Creepers 2 "Trish is no way involved or even uncredited. It does focus on a group of basketball players but Trish and Darry( Justin Long does have a minor role) are acknowledge as "a scary story that happened on this very road" by one of the cheerleaders. Trish moves back home and does not return to college after her and Darry's horrifying incident with the creature. Meanwhile she is getting psychiatric help through all of this. Trish and Darry's parents put up a flier hoping to find him. Jezzelle the pychic woman contacts her to let her know about the creature and he is back and he is feeding on a bus full of basketball players. There are supposedly more creatures created by him in the sequel. 'Thanks to Warricks'.

Creature Corner have revealed that the full title of Jeepers Creepers 2 will be Like Hell: Jeepers Creepers II.

Wednesday 28th August 2002 :Jeepers Creepers 2 Update:
A poster for the upcoming Jeepers Creepers 2 has been released today, I think this may be a ditched design as the tag line has apparently been dropped.

Jeepers Creepers 2 was originally subtitled Like A Bat Out Of Hell, this has now been dropped.

The movie follows on soon after the first one with a basketball team attacked on their way home from a game by the Creeper a winged monster.

Budget is around the $25 million figure. Filmed between June - August 9th this year.
