The satirical story is set in a future where American corporations rule the world and workers are forced to take their employer’s name. Hack Nike, an employee seeking promotion, signs a contract only to find he has agreed to assassinate kids who buy Nike’s new line of trainers as part of a marketing manoeuvre. Louis Mellis and David Scinto, the writers behind ‘Sexy Beast’ have been hired by Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney to adapt Max Barry’s sci-fi novel ‘Jennifer Government’. The satirical story is set in a future where American corporations rule the world and workers are forced to take their employer’s name. Hack Nike, an employee seeking promotion, signs a contract only to find he has agreed to assassinate kids who buy Nike’s new line of trainers as part of a marketing manoeuvre. Agent Jennifer Government is soon after him.
