director for their long in development John
Carter of Mars project. This was originally
going to be directed by Robert Rodriguez, who
dropped out, then Kerry Conran, and now Jon
Favreau has taken the helm. It is thought that
he will most likely junk Ehren kruger's thought-to-be-poor
script and sign up a new writer.

Conran and his brother Kevin have discussing the project
John Carter of Mars with Danton Burroughs at the Edgar
Rice Burroughs, Inc. The film centers on John Carter,

has been confirmed that Director Robert Rodriguez has
left the production of Paramount Pictures John Carter:
A Princess of mars. The studio was unable to work with
him after his resignation from the DGA, and his refusal
to join it again.
