Now if you have been reading down the page you will see that Leonardo Di Caprio is the man that is rumoured to be looking to star in this project. There's just one major problem with Leonardo Di Caprio starring in this project and it has nothing to do with his acting ability.... Its because he has legs!

Johnny Eck is a real life person who starring in the infamous 1932 movie Freaks that was directed by Tod Browning. Johnny Eck had a rather major handicap in that he was born without the lower half of his body. Now that's why I say it will be a nightmare project for Di Caprio to take on. Think of the amount of CG that it would require to remove the lower half of Di Caprio from every frame he is in?

But the subject matter sounds as if it might be an interesting cross between Elephant Man and What's Eating Gilbert Grape, a role that many might say was Di Caprio's best role.

Signed up to script the movie is Caroline Thompson, who is most remembered for her scripting duties on Edward Scissorhands. Did I hear you say ah so we are in Tim Burton territory then, well there's no word on that yet, but it does sound like a Tim Burton type of movie.
