New Line Cinema are in talks with Roger Kumble to helm Just Friends. The movie will follow a likable everyman who is rejected by his true love, who says she wants to be just friends. Moving across the country, he transforms himself into a selfish womanizer but then returns unexpectedly to his past persona when he reconnects with the girl who broke his heart.
