Thursday 13th November 2003: King of the Gods Update:
Disney has acquired the pitch King of the Gods, from screenwriter Sid
Quashie for studio-based Mayhem Pictures to produce. Independent producer
A.J. Marcantonio, who developed the idea with Quashie, will also produce.
The film, an epic fantasy adventure in a similar spirit to Excalibur,
explores how the young god Zeus discovers his destiny to overthrow his
father and become ruler of the Earth and heavens.
